Get your ISOBUS Block module up and running in minutes
The two ISOBUS sockets the module plugs into
An ISOBUS Block wires to one of two standard ISO 11783-2 sockets: the 9-pin in-cab connector on the cab pillar, or the 9-pin rear breakaway connector at the back of the tractor. The pin numbers, functions and wire colours below are the standard — the same on every ISOBUS tractor brand.

How the module wires, end to end
The ISOBUS harness feeds the top of the module (CAN L, CAN H, ground, +12 V). Each relay's COM ties to the +12 V bus; each load hangs off that channel's NO terminal and returns to ground. Three example loads shown on CH1–CH3; CH4–CH8 are free.
The +12 V from battery pill and the module's BAT+ are the same wire on an in-cab install (pin 7); on a rear install the 60 A load supply (pin 3) is a separate line.
Install checklist
The connector pinouts and the module diagram above show what goes where. Below is the sequence — one path for an in-cab install, one for a rear external install.
1. Pick where you plug in
There are two standard ISO 11783-2 sockets on any ISOBUS tractor, and the module works on either.
- In-cab (LBS) — a 9-pin socket on the cab pillar. Choose this when the module lives inside the cab or the load runs a short distance from it. Wire four pins: CAN_L (2), CAN_H (4), BAT+ (7), GND (9).
- Rear / external (IBBC) — a 9-pin breakaway socket at the back of the tractor. Choose this when the module rides on the implement itself. Wire six pins: CAN_L (9), CAN_H (8), BAT– (2), BAT+ (4) to the module, plus Power (3, 60 A) and Chassis (1) to the relay COM bus and its return.
2. Land the wires on the module
From the connector, run the four (or six) leads into the module's screw terminals along the top edge:
- CAN block —
L,H, andG(CAN shield, if the cable has one — leave empty otherwise). CAN_H is yellow, CAN_L is green — hold that pairing consistently and CAN faults are easy to trace. - Power block —
+(BAT+, 7–36 V) and−(BAT– / GND).
Torque the terminals to the value in Wiring & Power. Nothing else on the top edge needs wires for a first install.
3. Wire your loads
Each of the eight channels is a dry SPDT changeover — NO, COM, NC along the bottom edge.
- Tie every
COMto the +12/24 V supply that drives the loads. On an in-cab install this is BAT+ from the connector; on an external install this is pin 3 (Power, 60 A fused). - Hang each load off its channel's
NOterminal and return the load to ground. - Leave
NCunwired unless you deliberately need the load to fail on.

4. Power the tractor on
Turn the ignition on. The ISOBUS Block object pool uploads to the tractor's Virtual Terminal and the Block interface appears there — no configuration needed to see it.
If it does not appear, work through Troubleshooting.
5. Set up buttons on the VT
Every channel comes up as a placeholder tile. On the VT, press the EDIT soft key (cog icon), tap a tile, and set:
- a name (up to 8 characters, e.g.
LIGHT,DIVERTER) - an icon
- the channel(s) the tile switches (CH1–CH8)
- the mode —
TOG(toggle) orMOM(momentary)
Exit edit mode to save. The tile now switches its channel. All setup — button names, icons, channel mapping, AUX-N joystick assignment — happens on the VT itself; the module's WiFi web interface is only for testing outputs and firmware updates.
